Planning a Peacock Themed Wedding
Start with a Peacock Themed Save the Date: It is always thoughtful to send out "Save The Dates" once you have secured the date and location of your wedding. You can also use your cards to introduce your peacock wedding theme by using the brilliant colors found in nature on your cards and/or including a peacock feather design on them. Save the Dates usually take the form of 1) postcards or magnets that are mailed via the post office, or 2) e-card using one of the many free services online (to find these services, go to your favorite search tool and type in "free online save the dates" or "free save the date e-cards").

Next are your invitations: Invitations are a great way to creatively express your wedding information to your guests. Framing your invitation in one or more of the jewel tones found on a peacock as well as including an elegant image of peacock or peacock feather will further communicate the peacock theme. Already designed peacock invitations can readily be found online or at stationery stores.

Decor:
My favorite way to decorate is through the use of bold, dramatic color (royal blue, lime, emerald and olive greens, gold, brown and plum) and then use peacock feathers as accents. And elegant way to introduce color is through the use of wedding chair sashes and bows as well as using peacock colored table runners. If you are using floral centerpieces, make sure to include peacock feathers in them. You can also use peacock themed place cards and table numbers to add to the decor.
