One of my favorite party themes for a bridal
shower is a cherry blossom theme. It is all at once elegant, delicate
and absolutely exquisite. Planning this themed bridal shower is easy to
do, especially if you keep these 4 steps.

Step 1, Invitations:
Numerous sources of beautiful invitations are available from online
sources. Try searching on 'cherry blossom invitations' and 'sakura
invitations'. They are available in all different prices ranges
depending on how ornate the designs are and what type of paper they are
printed on.

Step 2, Decorations: This is a bit tough
because there are very few ready made decorations. So use your imagine
and decorate with balloon bouquets in pinks, plums, reds and/or whites.
String lovely paper lanterns around the room and decorate with lantern
candles. Plates and napkins.com has a huge assortment of blossom plates
and napkins as well as guest towels.

Step 3, Dessert: Of
course a themed dessert is in order whether is a decorated cake,
cupcakes, or petit fours (each with their own flower blossom
decoration). Turn to Google Images for terrific images of cakes. Print
out the one(s) you like best and take it to your favorite bakery to
replicate? On a tight budget? Take them to your supermarket bakery and
asked if they are able to make something similar. I have found that
these cake decorators often jump at the chance to show off their
creative skills. You can also make your own cake and simply frost it in
the color(s) of your party.

Step 4, Party Favors: A cherry
blossom bridal shower calls for sakura favors. Keep on the look-out for
elegant, unique favors that make your guests go 'Wow'! These include
mini c.b. wedding cake favors, purse valets, and glass magnets.
