Anthurium -- These beautiful Hawaiian flowers are perfect for larger flower arrangements. they can be found in pink, red, white, orange and can also have green striations.

Bird of Paradise or Strelitza -- These are easy to find and easy to use. They are a tropical flower that most everyone knows and recognizes. They are gorgeous in a large arrangement.

Orchid -- The orchid has been the quintessential wedding flower for generations. They are more delicate and can be expensive. You can order them direct from the grower for a substantial cost savings. They are also very fragrant.

Ginger -- A very architecturally alluring flower. They can offer some much needed height for a large arrangement.

Plumeria or Frangipani -- If you would like a beautiful and very fragrant bouquet, choose the plumeria. They come in a multitude of colors and mix well with other flowers.

Hibiscus -- Although these are an incredibly beautiful flower, they aren't widely used. They only last a short time. If you are having a destination wedding and can get these freshly picked, you won't be disappointed.
Many tropical flowers are quite expensive when purchased through a florist. If you would like to have them and not spend a fortune, consider ordering them direct from a grower and make your own tropical bouquets. It is easy to do and will save you tons of money.
